KBC Connections Committee
Become a Volunteer
The Connections Committee helps to foster a connection between the businesses and organizations in the Town of Kentville, and the Kentville Business Community Board of Directors. The Committee is responsible for the face to face interaction that helps to build collaborative relationships.
Committee Membership:
The Connections Committee is composed of KBC board members, Kentville business owners, and the KBC Executive Director.
Scope of Responsibility:

Welcome new businesses to the town;

Check-in on existing businesses throughout the year;

Visit businesses that are leaving town or closing, and conduct ‘exit interviews’;

Keep businesses and organizations informed about what KBC is doing through face to face interaction;

Plan socials and networking events to help build community;

Conduct an annual survey to collect feedback from businesses and organizations.
Time Commitment:
The Connections Committee meets four times a year, or as required. Committee members are also expected to visit businesses and organizations on a regular basis.
